The function of a 10kV-35kV photovoltaic prefabricated warehouse
The 35kV Prefabricated Cabin is essentially a highly integrated electrical equipment carrier, which typically includes the following key modules:
1. Primary equipment compartment: accommodates high voltage equipment such as 35kV Switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, etc., adopting a fully insulated enclosed design to ensure operational safety. Adopting a double-layer metal structure, filled with fireproof rock wool inside, with a fire resistance limit of more than 2 hours.
2. Secondary equipment compartment: Integrated with intelligent devices such as protection and measurement devices, communication management machines, etc., supporting remote monitoring and automated operations. Equipped with IoT sensors, it can monitor real-time parameters such as temperature and humidity inside the cabin, SF6 gas concentration, etc.
3. Auxiliary system cabin: includes facilities such as air conditioning, lighting, fire protection (heptafluoropropane automatic fire extinguishing system), video surveillance, etc., forming an independent operating microenvironment.

2、 Analysis of prominent features
Compared with traditional substations, 35kV prefabricated cabins demonstrate significant technological advantages:
1. Modular quick installation design
All equipment is debugged in the factory and can be put into operation after being transported to the site with only foundation pouring and equipment docking. Actual cases have shown that the construction period of substations using prefabricated cabins can be compressed from the traditional mode of 6 months to within 30 days, with an efficiency improvement of over 80%.
2. Strong environmental adaptability
The cabin adopts anti-corrosion coating (commonly C5 level anti-corrosion) and IP54 protection level, which can adapt to extreme weather conditions from -40 ℃ to+70 ℃. Prefabricated cabins can still operate stably in coastal high salt spray areas or desert high dust environments, and can operate continuously for 5 years without corrosion faults under an average annual humidity of 90%.
3. Advantages of spatial intensification
The standard 35kV prefabricated cabin covers an area of about 6m × 12m, saving 40% -60% of land compared to conventional substations.
3、 Typical application scenarios
1. Supporting facilities for new energy power generation
Used as a booster station in wind and photovoltaic power plants to solve construction difficulties in remote areas. A certain photovoltaic project uses 8 prefabricated cabins to replace traditional civil substations, with a construction period of only 28 days, ensuring that the power station is connected to the grid on schedule.
2. Urban power grid renovation
Used for power expansion in commercial and industrial parks, avoiding large-scale civil excavation. A certain project will embed prefabricated cabins into an underground parking lot to upgrade a 110kV substation without affecting the surface buildings.
3. Emergency power supply guarantee
The modular nature makes it an ideal choice for post disaster power recovery. When Typhoon Haiyan hit the southeast coast in 2024, three sets of mobile prefabricated cabins rebuilt the core functions of the damaged substation within 72 hours.
