How to wire the dual power automatic transfer switch?
The wiring of the dual power automatic transfer Switch (ATSE) needs to be determined according to the specific model and usage scenario (such as single-phase or three-phase power supply, whether it has fire linkage, etc.).


1. Preparation before wiring
Confirm product specifications
Clarify whether the switch is single-phase (220V) or three-phase (380V), rated current, number of poles (2P/3P/4P), and control mode (self switching and self resetting, self switching but not self resetting, etc.).
Check accessories: usually including main power supply incoming line, backup power supply incoming line, load outgoing line, control line (such as neutral line, fire linkage line).
Power off and verify the electricity
Disconnect all power sources and use a multimeter to confirm that there is no voltage at the incoming end to ensure safe operation.

1. Main power supply (common power supply) wiring

4、 Precautions
Phase sequence consistency
The phase sequence of the main and backup power supplies must be consistent (L1-L2-L3 sequence is the same), otherwise it may cause motor reversal or equipment failure. It can be detected by a phase sequencer or a phase sequence protection device can be installed in front of the switch.
Zero line processing
The neutral wire must be reliably connected and fully conductive, and must not be disconnected inside or outside the switch (the neutral wire terminal of a 4P switch is usually designed to be normally on).
ground protection
The metal casing of the switch needs to be grounded (PE wire) in accordance with electrical safety regulations.

After the wiring is completed, perform a no-load test first:
Connect the main power supply and observe whether the switch automatically closes to the main power end.
